<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">A Beautiful Life Lived</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">On Sunday June 27, 2021, Gwendolyn Jackson Carbaugh transitioned from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Gwen attended Johnson High School of Savannah, Georgia. She later went on devoting her entire life to the Lord where she was as an Assistant Pastor under Pastor Gwendolyn Greene. When she grew stronger in the Lord, her mission was to help others and make sure everyone she came in contact with knew the Lord.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Gwen was born December 1, 1949, to Willie Jackson and Lessie Mae Cooper Jackson who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son Alvin Carey (Chuckie) Carbaugh and her brother Ronald Gregory (Nut) Jackson, her great grandbabies, Isaiah Montrel Harris and Kai Patterson.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Gwen leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Robert Carbaugh Sr. with whom she spent fifty years. Her children, Lisa Jackson Lockhart (Miguel Lockhart), Lavonia Quarterman, Lacrissa Gaynor (Arthur Gaynor), Robert Lee Carbaugh Jr. (Terkesa Carbaugh), Belinda Williams (Calvin Williams), Crystal Mitchell (Terrance Mitchell), Jordan Bobby Carbaugh, Jamaica Victoria Carbaugh, and Rhonda Zimmerman; her brother Alvin Jackson (Diane Jackson); thirty-three grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and many who considered her a mother, sister, and grandmother.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Gwen&rsquo;s favorite thing to do was to SING. She loved her songs and when you heard her it melted your heart. God gifted her with lots of love, patience, compassion, and she was an awesome prayer warrior which was well needed in her ministry. Her gifted ministry was in hospitality and respite care.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">All of us will miss Gwen so much, our hearts will be at ease knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and other loved ones</span></span>.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>Public viewing will be held 1:00 p.m. &ndash; 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Campbell and Sons Funeral Home, 124 W. Park Ave., Savannah, GA. Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Holy Living Christian Center, 6073 Ogeechee Road, Savannah, GA. 31419. Mrs. Carbaugh will lie in state 9:00 til the hour of service. A Beautiful Life Lived

On Sunday June 27, 2021, Gwendolyn Jackson Carbaugh transitioned from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
