<p>PARTLAN, Joseph Robert - Age 77, of Flint, passed away, Friday, June 25, 2021. Memorial gathering will take place from 6 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.&nbsp;</p> <p>Joseph was born on September 3, 1943 in Birmingham the son of Robert and Natalie (Welch) Partlan. He proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Joseph and Chai Ngiebkratoke were united in marriage on March 19, 1973 in Thailand. He worked as a Physicians Assistant for Hamilton Clinic many years until his retirement. Joseph liked wood working and reading.&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his loving wife, Chai Partlan; son, Nathan (Roselyn) Partlan; grandson, James Parlan; siblings, Charles (Brooke) Partlan, Kevin (Margaret) Partlan and Pamela Peterman; sister-in-law, Ande Partlan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.&nbsp;</p> <p>Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, James and Brian Partlan. Joseph was born on September 3, 1943 in Birmingham the son of Robert and Natalie (Welch) Partlan. He proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge.
