Joseph Louis Albert Norman “Norm” Duval born Nov. 23, 1936 in Gilford, NH, son of Andre and Florida Duval, died unexpectedly of natural causes on June 25, 2021. He grew up in New Hampshire and Connecticut. He worked many years as an electrical engineer and machinist traveling far and wide but was happiest once he retired and his life truly began, and he fully enjoyed living each day. Most important in his life was his family. He was never happier than when he was spending time with them, playing cards, traveling, camping, or just visiting. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Irene, and his siblings: Andy, Lou, Fern, Phil, Claire, and Teri. He is loved and survived by his children: John, Jackie (Dan) McGrail, Andrea (Kyle) Donaldson, Audrey (Joe) Carmody, Joe (Sue) Duval, and Jim (Mindy) Duval; his grandchildren: Corey, Amberelle (Rob), Brandi, Jeremy (Janelle), Melanie, Joe (Ashleigh), Ryan, Sage, and Quinn; his great-grandchildren: Sullivan, Harrison, Chloe, Ben, and Asher; his siblings Jackie and Margie; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the Tolland Senior Center, Tolland Fire Department, or Tolland Lions Club. Relatives and friends may join the family on Thursday, July 1, 2021 between 3pm-6pm with a Funeral Home Service at 6pm at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road, Tolland, CT.
