Christopher D. Bard, 14, of Terryville died Sunday unexpectedly.

Chris was born September 9, 1997 in Bristol, son of Donald and Tina (Markeveys) Bard of Terryville. He was a 9th grade student at Terryville High School, a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Terryville and a member of the Terryville Fish and Game Club. He loved his best friend and uncle, Ronnie, RC Cars, fishing and his ATV.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister, Alyssa Bard of Terryville; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Sandra Bard of Bristol; his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Diane Markeveys of Terryville and Susan and Harry Costick of Hinsdale, NH ; his aunts and uncles, Lori Bard of Southington Steven Markeveys and Penny Carver of Bristol, Ronald Markeveys and Stacy France of Bristol, Matthew Markeveys of Bristol, his cousins Skyla, James and Steven Corley of Bristol, Cole and Jessica Griffin of Southington and Isabella Markeveys of Prospect. As well as, many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Friday (April 27, 2012) 11:00AM at Holy Trintiy Lutheran Church, Terryville. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00PM.

Memorial donations may be made to The Holy Trinity Church Youth Account, 8 Maple St., Terryville, CT 06786.
