<p>Lucy M. DeAngelis<br><br>On June 11, 2011, Lucy M. DeAngelis, a life long resident of Hershey, died in the Twin Oaks Nursing Center in Campbelltown.<br><br>She was born on March 12, 1915 and leaves behind two brothers: Samuel and Richard DeAngelis, 26 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews<br><br>She was preceded in death by her parents Domenico and Genoeffa (Qualia) DeAngelis, brothers, James, Siegfried, Anthony and Victor and sisters, Louise Pursch, Argia Laws and Rose Pellegrini.<br><br>She was an active partner in the DeAngelis Restaurant from it's founding in 1935 through 1988 and continued in customer service at Pronio's Market in Hershey until her retirement.<br><br>Lucy was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey from its inception and was active in many of its organizations. She expressed her creativity through music and flowers and was also a master seamstress designing and making her own clothes. Lucy was a prize winning gardener and avid member of the Hershey Horticulture Society where she won may awards for her stunning flower arrangements. <br><br>She was part of a musical family and sang with the DeAngelis Sisters Trio performing for the USO dances and concerts during WW II at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation. In her later years, she was a member of the St. Joan of Arc church choir and Hershey Community Chorus.<br><br>Graveside services will be at 3:30PM on Thursday, June 16th at the Hershey Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at 10:00 AM in her church at 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey.<br><br>Share condolences at www.hooverfuneralhome.com</p><p> </p>
