Both, Antony Anna, 93, passed away on December 11, 2015, at the Christian Health Care Center with family members present. Antony was born in Breda, Holland on February 1, 1922 to Matheus & Elizabeth Both, immigrating to the United States in 1960 with "2 children, $300 and 2 sea chests." He resided in the Paterson/Haledon area before relocating to Brick Township in 1992. Antony was taken prisoner during World War II by the Germans. After the war and his release, he served in the Dutch Navy. Antony retired from Nabisco in Fair Lawn as a machinist after 25 years. He was devoted to his family and loved square dancing, fishing and travelling. Antony was predeceased by his wife Wilhelmina, his parents, his brothers Chris and Leo and his sister Bep. He is survived by his loving companion Doris Fabian of Brick, daughter Betty Broek and her husband Ray of Oakland, his son Peter Both and his wife Jeanine of Vernon, grandchildren Jodi Broek of North Haledon, Mark Broek and his wife Vanessa of Chester, NJ, Paul Broek of Oakland, Travis Both of Vernon and Austin Both of Tampa, FL, and great grandchildren Sienna, Adrian & Cole Broek. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
