Jim Franklin Hillegas, age 41, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 after an extended illness. He leaves behind his wife, Hannah Hillegas; three daughters, Isabella Phillips, Jolee Hillegas, and Hadlie Hillegas; his parents, Johnny Lee Hillegas and Velma Jean Pipkin; stepmother, Kim Hillegas; three brothers, Johnny Arthur Hillegas (Lisa), Christopher Lee Hillegas (Brittany), and Matthew Edmond Pipkin; one sistser, Brandy Nicole Hillegas (Ryan); several nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Jim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Francis Arthur Hillegas and Lulu Pearl Elrod; and maternal grandparents, Irene Stenton Lauderman and William Earl Lauderman. Jim was an employee of Ferguson’s Enterprises for 15 years. He enjoyed traveling with his family and was an avid golfer. He loved Memphis Basketball and the Dallas Cowboys.
