Robbie L. Malone, Esquire
Robbie L. Malone, 60 of Plano passed away after a long battle with covid on June 23, 2021. The family is planning a memorial service at a later date. Robbie Luann Malone was born in Haskell, TX on April 23, 1961, to Ruthie Lorene Crosson and Robert L. Malone. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1979 and completed her BA at McMurray University in Abilene in 1983. She attended Law School at the University of Houston and received her Juris Doctor degree in 1986. She started her legal career as a prosecutor for Brazos County and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas before moving into private practice. Robbie was the founding managing partner of Malone Frost Martin, PLLC in Dallas and has spent the last 35 years as a trial attorney. She is survived by her husband Stuart Self, her brothers Richard (Rick) Malone and Robert (Bo) Malone Jr., and her nephew Eric Malone. She also leaves behind her aunts, uncles, many cousins, lots of friends, and caring co-workers. Robbie always loved fast cars, dogs, and George Strait music. She will be extremely missed by all of those she loved and helped. Memorials can be made in her name to a charity of donor’s choice and may be left at the Melton Kitchens Funeral Home.
