Leonard Thomas "L. T." Escort, Sr., 91, a resident of Patterson, LA and native of Morgan City, LA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 22, 2021 at 2:50 P. M. at his residence.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ 1105 Railroad Avenue Morgan City, LA, with Brother Stanley Rankins officiating the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. 
 

Leonard, Sr. or “L. T.,” as he was known to many, leaves to cherish his beautiful memories, his wife, Connie Jones Escort of Patterson, LA; six daughters, Mary Johnson, Ruth Crachan, Carolyn Green, Deatrel Hunter, Lillie Mae Escort all of Morgan City, LA, and Juanita Escort of Baytown, TX; four sons, Leonard Thomas Eacort, Jr., Clifton Escort, and Allan Escort all of Morgan City, LA and Andrew Escort of Birmingham, AL; three brothers, Calvin Valentine, Sr., of Morgan City, LA, Wilbert Valentine of Lafayette, LA, Emmanuel Escort of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters, Vida Banks of Brookhaven, MS, Beverly Bates and Audrey McKnight both of Baton Rouge LA; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, three brothers-in-law, and three sisters in-law.

Awaiting L. T.’s arrival in heaven are his: mother, father, three sisters, five brothers, and two sons.
