<p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Virginia Arrowood Rowland, age 94, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, June 21, 2021 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, North Carolina. The daughter of the of the late Xurian and Mattie Seagle Arrowood, Virginia was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on October 19, 1926.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Rowland.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">A proud mother and grandmother, Virginia is survived by her two sons, Bobby Rowland and Terry Rowland; three wonderful grandchildren; and six precious great grandchildren. </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery. </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider a charity of ones choice. </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>Obituary
