Elmer E. Keiser, 75, of Lehighton passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Nancy (Remaley) Keiser for 54 years. Elmer worked as a route salesman for Coca Cola, in Bethlehem for 39 years and as a van driver for PATH in Lehighton for 11 years, retiring in 2015. Born in Long Run on, September 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Curtis and Helen (Rodgers) Keiser. He was a 1963 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. Elmer was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the US Navy from 1963-66. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lehighton, where he served as an Usher, a Life member of Lehigh Fire Co#1, a member and past Commander of the Lehighton American Legion Post 314 and was a Lieutenant in the Lehighton Fire Police. Elmer loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his Wife, Children, Pati wife of Duane Reichard and Shawn, husband of Kelly both of Lehighton; Grandchildren, Casi and Adam Reichard and Brianna Keiser; Brothers, Paul husband of Donna of Martins Creek and John, husband of Judi of Slatington; Sister, Sylvia, wife of Gary Serfass of DE; Nieces and Nephews.
