George Garfield Wilson, Jr. passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Autumn Care of Saluda Center. He was born on August 22, 1949, to the late George and Annie Seabrook Wilson.

George was a loving brother to his siblings and would do anything for them if he were able to do so. George “Groovy” loved to dance and speak his mind.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Annie and Toby Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory are siblings, Shirley Brown (Bobby), Ken Wilson (Martha), Alvin Wilson, Sherry Lytle (Eugene), Mable Young; grandchild, Samiya Willis; daughter-in-law, Iyssa Willis; a host of nieces and nephews.

George will be deeply missed by his family and friends. This is not “goodbye”, it is “see you later!”

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, June 26, 2021 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service. Public viewing will be one hour prior to the service.
