Joyce Mary Lefevers, 58 of Kettle Island, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Care. She was born in Pineville on October 10, 1962, a daughter of Pearl Ray Lefevers and the late Bessie Taylor Lefevers. Joyce Mary was a member of the Jenson Baptist Church and had been a registered nurse. Joyce Mary is survived by her husband, Mike Lefevers; daughter, Rebecca Brooke Hurley; son, Clint Holden Hurley and wife, April; grandchildren, Jakeb Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Harper Hurley, Addison Abbott, and Avery Abbott; stepmother, Robin Lefevers; the father of Addison Abbott and Avery Abbott, Justin Abbott; the father of her children, Cecil Hurley; sister, Emily Lefevers Hoskins; brother, Todd Baker and his wife, Becky; and a host other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Sanders and Rev. James Polly presiding. Music will be provided by Mickey Wilder. Burial will follow in the Jenson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Hurley, Todd Baker, Jason Taylor, Jakeb Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Justin Abbott, Shawn Fugate, David Ray Stewart, Kevin Lefevers, Kagen Lefevers, Adam Lefevers, Johnathan Levers, Daniel Lefevers, Caleb Lefevers, William Cody Lefevers, and David Lefevers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lefevers Family.
