<p>LARSON, Eldon T. &quot; Pete&quot; - Age 92, of Flint Township, died Saturday, June 19, 2021.&nbsp; Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Highway, Flint.&nbsp; Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating.&nbsp; Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery 9:00 AM Thursday, June 24, 2021. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Tuesday from 2-8 PM and at church Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.&nbsp; Those desiring may make contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Pete was born January 12, 1929 in Flint, the son of Lawrence and Ida (Markstrom) Larson.&nbsp; He was a 1947 graduate of Flint Northern High School.&nbsp; He served in the U.S. Army.&nbsp; He married Ann M. Taylor October 17, 1953 in Swartz Creek and she preceded him in death April 14, 2015.&nbsp; He had resided in the Flint area his entire life.&nbsp; Pete retired from Michigan Bell (AT&amp;T) after 38 years of service.&nbsp; He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.&nbsp; He enjoyed golfing and playing softball.&nbsp; He never missed an sporting event for his family.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Surviving are: 4 children, Karen (Bob) Root, Leigh (Tom) Weston, Scott (Joyce Igasaki) Larson, and Nancy (John) Hanchett; 10 grandchildren, Kelsey (Jared) Rawls, Kevin (Caroline Marchard) Root, Casey (Jeff) Carr, Heather (Caleb) Norris, Sarah (Dustin) Terwilliger, Erin Weston, Tyler (Megan Wantz) Larson, Erik (Betty Farrell) Larson, Christina (Charlie) Matrosic, and Eric Hanchett; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Larson.&nbsp; Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfunerallhomes.com.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
