Billy J. Hall

Billy J. Hall, 85, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away June 19, 2021, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on July 16, 1935, in Crockett, Arkansas, and was the son of the late George Randel and Nova (Duckworth) Hall . Billy was united in marriage to Betty Joyce Reagan on September 7, 1957. <iframe class="ts_player" allowfullscreen="true" allowtransparency="true" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" frameborder="0" height="330" scrolling="no" src="https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/DMF7W3ZQW44SR73T" width="512"></iframe> Billy farmed and raised cattle on the Hall farmstead where he was born and raised. He was an active member of the Clay County Cattleman's Association and drove a propane gas truck until the young age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nova Hall; brothers, Joel Dwight Hall and Robert Franklin Hall; and sister, Ellen Francis Brannan. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Joyce Hall of Piggott, Arkansas; daughters, Michelle Hartsfield and husband Gerald, Kristi Robinson and husband Mark; grandchildren, Dillan Hartsfield, Hannah Robinson, Kaylee Gilbee and husband Zach, Garrett Robinson, and Heaven Winn and husband Will; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Ken Roden officiating. Burial is in Mars Hill Cemetery in Crockett, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Joel Reagan, Patrick Reagan, Randy Anders, Jimmy Bowman, Jim Nunnery and Tim Risinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Herschel Branson, Ronnie Dawes and Devon Harris. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Monday, June 21, 2021, from 1:00 pm until service time.
