Frances Orene Leviner

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. On June 19, 2021, all Heaven rejoiced as Frances Orene Leviner walked onto the streets of gold to her heavenly reward; her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ proclaiming, “Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant”.

Frances Orene Leviner, age 74 was born April 26, 1947, to Clyde and Vera Sessoms. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a faithful member of the Springfield Church of God for 52 years. She served as a Sunday School and Children’s Church teacher and was a Gideon. Teaching and sharing about the love of Jesus Christ to others was her passion. She was the epitome of a virtuous and Christian lady who was an example to all women. She was a retiree of Eaton Corporation. She loved traveling to the mountains, admiring God’s beautiful creation and making memories with family and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Vera Sessoms; husband of 51 years Douglas Leviner and daughter Joyce Leviner Odom.

She leaves behind daughters Mary Hegwer (Henry), Tina Frier (James), Jamie Locklear (Ryan); son in law Ricky Odom; special niece Tara Sessoms; Sister Dot Dutch (Dwight); Brothers Clyde Sessoms, and Leon Sessoms (Eva); 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Springfield Church of God 10101 Gibson Rd, Laurel Hill, NC 28351.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the Springfield Church of God 10101 Gibson Rd, Laurel Hill, NC 28351. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Gibson.


Service has been entrusted to Bole Funeral Home of Rowland.
