Mary J. Hinkle, 78, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Wauseon, Ohio on April 3, 1943 to Leo and Vera (Johnston) Posner. She graduated from Wauseon High School and then married the love of her life Herbert Hinkle on November 3, 1962. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed traveling all over the country, watching and cheering on all of her favorite teams, especially the Cleveland Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. She had a passion for playing and watching tennis. What she cherished most was spending time with her loving family. Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Herbert; daughters, Jerilyn (Chip) Distel, Sheila (Doug) Murra, Melissa (Bryon) Nusbaum, Denise Stacey; grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Danielle, Courtney, Christopher, Tyler, A.J., Travus; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward and Ronald Posner; sister-in-law, Nora Posner; and many nieces, nephews and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jerald Posner.
