Victor F. Baker Obituary

Victor F. Baker I Age 78, of Owosso, formerly of Carson City, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021. Victor was born May 22, 1943 in Green Oak Township, the son of Dan and Elsie (Michnig) Baker. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Victor worked in Plant 1 for Oldsmobile/General Motors in Lansing and was a member of the UAW Local 652. He was an avid fisherman and could be found on the banks of the Maple River. He is survived by his children Charles Witherell, Victor (Sheila) Baker II, Katerina (Jeff) Pease, Mark Baker, Jeremy Baker, 8 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sisters Lily, Joan (Ray), Reha and Lorilei. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Glenn, Richard and Shar. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 1 pm at the Dodge Funeral Home, Middleton with Rev. Ray Strawser officiating. Interment at a later date will be held at Fulton Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
