Mary Louise Gundrum

Mary Louise Gundrum "Lou" of Annandale, Va., died peacefully at home on January 28, 2017. Born in Gladwin, MI on December 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Reby Wagar. Lou graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1950 with a B.A. in music, followed by accreditation in teaching. Her marriage to Keith Gundrum ended in divorce. In 1966, the family moved to Virginia and Lou taught at Woodburn, Stenwood, Sunrise Valley and White Oaks elementary schools until her retirement in 1986. She is survived by her loving children, Patricia Gundrum and William (Gloria) Gundrum, her beloved grandchildren, Aaron (Bonnie) and Mary (Brian), 2 great-grandchildren, and the love of her life William Martin. A service celebrating Lou's life will be held at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 AM. Funeral Home: Money & King Funeral Home 171 W. Mrs. Gundrum was one of the best Moms in the neighborhood. She was always so nice, caring and fun. I have many fond memories of her. Deepest Sympathies to the Gundrum Family and Bill.
