<p>Richard John Sims, 93, died on June 13, 2021 at Duke's Hock Pavillion in Durham, NC. He was born in Belle Isle , NY, son of the late James Sims and Alice Reader. His wife , Harriet Bleich Sims, passed away in 2014. He is survived by his three daughters, Melody Rodgman of Durham, NC, Marcia Luden of Colorado Springs, CO and Michele Sims of Pompano Beach, Fl as well as 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dick liked nothing better than to be in his garden growing vegetables and flowers for almost 70 years.
