Alice M Boivin of Burlington VT went to join her husband Herbert in heaven on Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was born and attended schools in Burlington. She was married to Herbert in 1953 and together raised 7 children. After her children were in school she went back to work in food services with the hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She is survived by her children Herbert (Robin) Boivin, Linda (Michael) Lavallee, Stephen Boivin, Mary Lee Boivin, Laurie (Jeff) Audette, John Boivin and Son-in-law Tom Michaud. Grandchildren; William (Mia), Brett (Jenna), Ben (Susie), Erin (Cory), Caitlyn, Taylor, Rebecca (Chris) and Heather. Great grandchildren; Zachary, Tristan, Lily, Evan, Drew, Camren, Levi, Kai, Ethan and Evan. Also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Herbert, her daughter Ann Marie (12/26/20), her daughter-in-law Judy Boivin, sister Catherine, brother Lawrence as well as sisters and brothers-in-laws A special thank you to the friends that she made at Elderwood nursing home for the care she received and who treated her like family, especially Zummie who meant so much to her. Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 15, 2021 from 11:00 until 12:00 with a Funeral Service starting at 12:00 noon, at the Ready Funeral Home South Chapel 261 Shelburne Rd in Burlington.
