JEFFERSON - Lois C. (Griffin) Ozias, 88 of Jefferson, Maine, died Thursday, June 10th, 2021, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born in Augusta, Maine on October 5, 1932, the daughter of Stanley and Lucille (Hall) Griffin. Attended Cony High School. She lived in Lady Lake and Chrystal River Florida, as well as Augusta and Jefferson. Lois worked for the Kennebec Journal for 12 years and retired from JS McCarthy after 18 years.
Lois was predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert Ozias; three sons, Michael Toman, Patrick Toman, and Timothy Toman; sister Shirley Folsom and stepbrother John E. Dutton.
She is survived by daughter in law, Judi Martin, of Jefferson; four grandchildren, James Toman, of Gardiner, Amy Toman, of New York, Daryn Toman, of Bristol and Breanne Hatch, of Damariscotta; four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no services, and will be burial in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Augusta.
