Velma Lenora Farrar 85 of Cedarville passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 in Van Buren. She was a bookkeeper for Climate Control Inc. in Springdale, Arkansas. She was an avid volunteer for Project Compassion, Inc. in 2003 she received the Marion Stephens Key Person Award presented by the late Mayor Ray Baker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Ross the father of her children; son Douglas Ross; her parents Minor and Minnie (Rankin) Robertson; four sisters Oleta McGatha, Lois Metheny, Juanita Joiner and Louise Young; one brother Edward Robertson; Funeral service will be at 10 AM Wednesday, June 16, 2021at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. She is survived by her husband Jerry Farrar of the home; two daughters Shelia Williams and husband Greg of Chula, Missouri, Lisa Ross Hendricks of Fayetteville; three sons Harold Ross Jr. and wife Linda of Muldrow, Tim Ross of Pine Bluff and Les Ross of Van Buren; two sister Gordia Martinez and Ruthie Robertson both of California; one brother James Robertson of Pocola; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren. Pallbearers will be Cody Morgan, Greg Williams, Toby Williams, Jason Williams, Cody Williams and Dustin Ross.
