DATELINE PROSPERITY DOLLIE SEABORN Dollie Smith Seaborn, 60, resident of 149 Wessinger Drive, formerly of Greenwood, went to home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, February 13, 2011. Born in Greenwood, September 15, 1950, she was a daughter of Ira Nelle Shaw Smith and the late Joe Bernard Smith. A graduate of Greenwood High School, Dollie received a biology degree from Lander College becoming a Medical Technologist and later received an ADN from Midlands Technical College. She worked as an RN in CCU and ICU for more than fifteen years and was formerly employed with Richland Memorial Hospital and retired from the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia. Dollie formerly played the piano for West Side Baptist Church alongside her mother who was the organist. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Ms. Seaborn was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Seaborn. Surviving in addition to her mother of Greenwood are a son, Ben Seaborn of Denver, CO; daughter, Natalie Seaborn and fianc�, Michael Bright of Irmo; her fianc�, Fritz Wrecker of the home; three sisters, Beverly Rogers of Greenwood, Carolyn Fowler and husband Patrick of Anderson and Jeannie Smith of Greenwood; nieces, Shawna Fowler and Marissa Fowler; and nephew, Dylan Lail. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bryant Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of her mother Ira Nelle Smith, 446 Dogwood Drive and will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1-2 PM.
