Karen L. Nasiatka
<p>WINCHENDON – Karen L. (Roberts) Nasiatka, 69, of 11 Whitney Street, died peacefully at her residence Thursday morning, June 10, 2021, with her family at her side.</p> <p> </p> <p>She was born in Winchendon on August 16, 1951, daughter of the late Albert J. and Janet I (Blomi) Roberts, was educated in Winchendon schools and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.</p> <p> </p> <p>Karen worked for many years as a seamstress and upholsterer in local furniture and upholstery shops. She greatly enjoyed her family, as well as crocheting and sewing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Her husband of 37 years, Frank S. Nasiatka Jr., died in 2008. She leaves two children, Charles R. Nasiatka and his wife Monique of Winchendon and Lori A. Sheppard of Baldwinville; her grandchildren, Christine Correa of Winchendon, Charles J. Nasiatka of Hawaii, Chelsey Nasiatka of Winchendon, Samantha Sheppard of Baldwinville, Taylor Sheppard of Baldwinville; three great grandchildren Anthony, Andrew and Axel. One of thirteen children, she also leaves her brothers and sisters, Albert Roberts, Arthur Roberts, Yvonne Flis, Shirley Smith, Michael Roberts, Mary Conrey, Peter Roberts, Carl Roberts, John Roberts and Charlie Roberts as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Gauthier and Barbara Gilson.</p> <p> </p> <p>Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 1 P.M. in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.</p> <p> </p> <p>Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon is directing arrangements.</p> <p> </p> <p>www.stone-ladeau.com</p>Obituary
