Pat Brooks Garner

Pat Garner, 75 of McDonald, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her home. Born on October 19, 1945 to the late J.P. and Christine Brooks, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Morgan; and mother-in-law. Nettie Garner. Survivors include her husband , James “Jim” Garner; children, Beth McKinney, Lisa Collins, and Jennifer Hester(Chase); grandchildren, Adam Carter, Casey Garner, Darren Collins(Kelley), Summer Collins, Savannah Collins, Sara Beth Davis, Billy Davis, Chasity Scoggins(Brad), and Shannon Gates(Tanner); siblings, William Brooks , Mabel Brackett, Betty Jones, and Regina Smith; sister-in-law, Lois Myers; furbaby Bella; five great-grandchildren; and several other extended family and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 7p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 from the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Ollis officiating. Family and friends will gather at Lee Cemetery for the 1p.m. on Sunday June 13, 2021 for the commital service. Visitation will be from 5p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
