Floydia “Karen” Utzman Postin, 76, of Boonville, Indiana passed away on June 10, 2021. Karen was born April 6, 1945 to the late Floyd and Elfreda Utzman. Karen was a 1964 graduate of Chrisney High School. She was involved with home healthcare and was a caretaker for Ralph Hutchinson. Karen’s pride and joy above all else was her large family. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her infant daughter Karen Renee and her sister Kim Dohoney. Karen is survived by her children, Tony Postin (Josie), Trent Postin (Cristy), Alex Postin (Kelly) and Tara Brock (Jeff); grandchildren, Tim Young (Emma), Kellie Head (Kasey), Christian Postin, Kara Young, Tyler Brock and Kenadie Brock; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Vanessa, Thorin, Jayden, Damon, Kyra, Mason, Dalton and Avery; sisters, Kay Lambert (Glenn), Beverly Boink (Ron) and Nancy Phillips (David); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Hutchinson family for all of their love and support. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Koehler Funeral Home, 304 E. Main St., Boonville, IN 47601. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the funeral home with her nephew, Aaron Franz, officiating. Burial to follow in Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
