Zona Mae Brenner Obituary

Zona Mae Brenner, 86, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

 

She was born September 20, 1934, in Yukon, Oklahoma to Osie Mac Stinchcomb and Mille Ruth Garrett-Stinchcomb. Zona was of Baptist faith and deeply passionate about her nursing career. She dedicated her life to caring of those who came her way. Zona retired as a Registered Nurse and Administrator of Nurses from the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, watching horse races, playing SKIPBO, loved to cook for others, and was known for always being early.

 

Zona is survived by her 2 sons, Donald Richard Brenner and wife, Darlene of Jenks, OK., and Phillip Osie Brenner and wife, Merrle of McCalister, OK; 1 daughter, Brenda Ruth Duggan and husband, Terry of Fayetteville, AR; 3 brothers, Glenn Stinchcomb and wife, Hilda of Dallas, TX., Bob Stinchcomb and wife Joan of Ft Gibson, OK., and Bud Stinchcomb and wife, Linda of West Siloam Springs, OK; 1 sister, Mary Ruth McCoy of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her dog, Emmy; and many other loved ones.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Stinchcomb; and sister, Joyce Stinchcomb.

 

A memorial service will be held the morning of July 10th at 10:30 for the inurnment of her cremains at Oak Hill Cemetery of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. 

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Prevent Cancer Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia.
