It is with deep sadness that the family of Marilyn Joan Wentzell (Mossman) of Halifax, formerly of Kingsburg, NS announces her passing after a courageous battle with Cancer on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the QE II Victoria General Site, Halifax at the age of 77. Born in Bridgewater, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Wilson and Myrna (Carver) Mossman. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron (Ronald), married August 4, 1965 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, officiated by Reverend Keith Crouse. Surviving also are brothers Russell Mossman (Carol), Lunenburg, Irvin Mossman (Judith), Bedford; niece, Lori Eddy (Michael) and their daughter, Ashlyn; nephews, Gary Mossman (Peggy) and their sons, Bradley and Logan; Matthew Mossman (Lisa); sister-in-law, Karen Comstock (Cris) and their family, Kirk (Narah), Ky, Indi; Jordi (Eva); uncle, Gardner Carver and many cousins. Marilyn was predeceased by sister-in-law, Kathy Mossman; grandparents, Obediah and Flora Mossman and Ozem and Ruby Carver. Marilyn was employed with BMO from 1963 to 1999 until her retirement. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. Cremation has taken place. A Remembrance and Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Kingsburg. Kingsburg Village is where Marilyn first began her Journey in Life. Lakeview Cemetery is located en-route to Hirtle’s Beach.
