BOBBY DAVIS Bobby Land Davis, 81, resident of 1718 Highway 246, husband of Mary Jeanette Goff Davis, died Tuesday, January, 31, 2017 at his home. Born in Pelzer, SC, August 11, 1935, he was a son of the late Henry Frank and Ella Land Davis. Mr. Davis attended Ware Shoals High School, was a US Army Veteran and retired from Fluor-Daniel after 47 years with the company. A member of Siloam Baptist Church, Mr. Davis was also a Mason and Shriner and a member of Ware Shoals Masonic Lodge #306 AFM. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Randy Davis of Waterloo, Dana Davis Turner and husband Jack of Greenwood, Kevin Davis of Ninety Six and Patrick Davis and wife Regina of Greenwood; a step-son, Elmer L. Smith and wife Diane of N. Augusta; two sisters, Wynona Ruff of Pomaria and Jolene Armstrong of Belton; one brother, Phil Davis and wife Tammy of Ware Shoals; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. He was twice married, first to the late Clara June Davis and was also predeceased by five brothers, Roy, Ken, Ed, Wayne and Dale Davis and two sisters, Myrtle Davis and Alma McFaddin. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Smith and Rev. Marc Vickers officiating. Burial with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kent Davis, Phil Davis, Russell Davis, Jeff Davis, Greg Davis and Mike McFaddin. Honorary escort will be Chris Ward, Tracy Ward, Scott Ward, Dale Butler, Keith Swancey, Frankie Coates, Johnny Coates, Dale Bobo, Bobby Bobo, Ken Traynham and Rick Sullivan. The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 12:30 Friday afternoon. The family is at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday evening. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 W.
