Alvin Mark Kempton Florence, Arizona Obituary

Alvin Mark Kempton

Alvin Mark Kempton, born October twentieth, 1950, in Florence Arizona from Alivn Heber Kempton and Jocie Iline Kempton, and passed into the Celestial Kingdom on June eighth, 2021. Husband to Janine, brother to Aliene, Beth, Dortha, Chuck, Don E, Dell, Debora, Susan, Richard and Robert and father to David, Brent, Kristen, Stacey, Amiee, Megan, Jamie, Seth, Chad, Niki and Renae. Mark grew up on the Kempton Dairy and Farm in Valley Farms Arizona. There he honed his agricultural acumen whether it be flora or fauna, and always spoke fondly of the Jocie’s and Alvin’s ingenuity and determination in creating a culture and expectation to manage and make the land sustain our needs. Taking ownership of the original dairy barn, Mark continued to produce and sell dairy products in the same building. After several difficult decisions, Mark turned to heavy construction to meet his family’s needs, and eventually became a critical member of Pinal Excavation Incorporated. Mark’s passion was to grow plants, animals, and grandchildren. Mark took the nickname “Papa” after his first grandchild, Alexis was born. As more grandchildren came of age, he and his wife “Jan” created a livestock program and supported hundreds of children to learn and love agricultural husbandry. His and Jan’s livestock program resulted in several Junior Livestock Champions in Market and Carcass Goat and Market and Carcass Beef. Mark is survived by his wife Janine, his siblings, his children, more than twenty grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Mark will be remembered and placed in the Florence Municipal Cemetery. From Pinal County Mark came, and to Pinal County we return him. The Lord has received you Papa, enjoy your eternal peace.
