James "Jim" Jay Nelson

Jim Nelson, 63 of Cedar Hill, Tennessee left this life on June 08, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Robertson County Funeral Home in Springfield, Tennessee on Friday June 11, 2021 from 4pm-8pm and Saturday June 12, 2021 from 10am-11am with the service at 11:00 am with burial at Bell Wood Cemetery in Adams, Tennessee with Pastor Nelson Garrett officiating. Pallbearers will be Ed Nelson, Joe Nelson, Jeff Nelson, Drake Nelson, Steve Nelson, Chance Nelson and Jon Trusty.

Jim was born in Illinois, to Jack and Betty Nelson. He was one of four children. Jim was a millwright for 40 years. He was a collector of guns and whiskey.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Carol Nelson, Mother Betty Nelson and Father Jack Nelson.

He is survived by his wife Marie Nelson. Brothers: Ed Nelson and wife Lana Nelson, Joe Nelson and wife Kelly Nelson, Steve Nelson and Jeff Nelson. Children Chance Nelson and wife April Nelson, Jon Trusty and wife Krysten Trusty, Cody Nelson and wife Rachel Nelson, Cortney Jackson and husband Jamie Jackson. His 10 grandchildren, Analyn Nelson, Harlynn Trusty, Bryten Trusty, Gabrielle Nelson Lamp, Isabella Nelson, Keanu Savaiki, Gabriel Sage, Garrett Jackson, Peyton Jackson and Wyatt Jackson and one great-grandchild.

Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
