Larry Arthur Valenzuela, lifelong resident of Vancouver, WA, passed away June 6, 2021 in Clackamas, OR. He was born to Arthur and Doreen Valenzuela in La Grande, OR, June 12, 1956.
He attended Blue Mountain Community College and served in the U.S. Navy. Larry retired in 2011, after 33 years with the Veteran’s Administration Hospital.
Larry was a single father of two daughters until he met the love of his life Valerie, in 1996. Valerie and Larry were married in 1998 and they were blessed with another daughter. Larry was a loving husband, girl dad, grandfather and friend. He had the ability to find humor in any situation and was a rock for many. He enjoyed reading, beach trips, movies and spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his wife, Valerie; daughters, Crystal (Manny), Misty (Josh) and Lindsey; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lacey, Brendan, Alyssa, Madison, Joey and Koa; and niece, Sherry. He was especially close to his cousins, Rick, Bob and Doug Thomas. He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Doreen; and sister, Linda.
