Amy Beth Magazu, 51, passed away on Monday June 7th at her residence on Center Street. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Sharon (Miller) Magazu. Amy was born on March 19, 1970, in Bennington, VT. She graduated from H.F.C.S. and received degrees from Paul Smith College and Hudson Valley Community College. Amy formerly worked as a Respiratory Therapist at the Williamstown Commons. She was a avid Boston Red Sox fan. Survivors include her sisters Sandra Woods and Linda Magazu, brother Dan Magazu, also nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Mike Magazu. Funeral services will be Saturday June 12, at 1:00 pm, from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice through the funeral home.
