It is with great sorrow that the family of Kayla Stapleton announces that she passed away, peacefully, on May 25, 2021, at University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, in her sister Tara's, arms, surrounded by love and family. She was born on January 29, 1991 to Floyd Stapleton, Jr. and Judy E. Anselmo in Gulfport, MS. Kayla's soul was one of a kind. Even through her own troubles, she was always there to brighten the lives of others. Kayla pursued modeling, traveling and took on whatever adventure came her way. Kayla could easily spend hours coloring or writing in her journals, even from a young age. She also had a passion for organizing, hoping one day to open her own business doing just that for both people and businesses. Kayla is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Kayliannah Thomas and Marrick Creel; Dad, Floyd Stapleton (Brenda); Sisters, Tara Stapleton (Kolya) and Roselyn Vaughan; Niece, Raziyah Brown; Nephews, Thomas Quinn IV, Lucas Lammers, Dackari Brown, Kaydrien Mcdowell and Kolya Mcdowell, Jr. She also has numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends she loved dearly. Kayla reuintes with her Mother, Judy E. Anselmo; Brother, Thomas Quinn III; Niece, Dejanae Mcdowell; Grandfather, Floyd Stapleton, Sr; Grandmother, Margie Stapleton; Brother in law, Ronald Brown, Jr. The date of Kayla's memorial is Saturday, June, 12, 2021, and will start at 3 PM until. It will be held at The Picayune Proper, located at 286 Magnolia Dr. Picayune, Ms 39466.
