Dennis John Garry Knezacek

<p>Dennis John Garry Knezacek of Stockholm, Saskatchewan, passed away on June 5th, 2021, in Esterhazy, Sask., at the age of 64 years. Dennis was born to William and Caroline Knezacek on March 30th, 1957 in Esterhazy, Sask. He lived on the family farm until 1963 at which time they moved into Esterhazy, SK. On February 18th, 1978, he married Maureen Nagy. They went on to have 5 children and 8 grandchildren who Dennis loved more than life itself. Dennis had many different jobs throughout his life. He played music, did construction work, welding, equipment operation, farming, drove semi-truck, and was a store/business owner. From 1971 - 1978 he played guitar with the &quot;Purple Dawn&quot;, as many of you will remember. He farmed and had his own semi-trucks for 10 years. One of Dennis&#39; favorite pastimes was playing chess with Maureen and his son-in-law Reid. In 1995, Dennis and Maureen took over the grocery store in Stockholm which they ran side by side for 25 years. They left the store on January 1st, 2020. Dennis then became employed on a farm where he was still working up until April of 2021 when he became very sick and could no longer work.</p> <p>Dennis has joined his infant daughter Mallory in Heaven, who are now together forever once again.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was also predeceased by his father William, his mother Caroline, his brothers Kenneth and Lynn, his father-in-law Joseph Nagy, and brothers-in-law Paul Fraser and Larry Bartok.</p> <p>Dennis is survived by his loving wife, soul mate and best friend of 43 years, Maureen, 4 children, son Aubrey and wife Melissa, daughter Amanda and husband Reid, son Dillon and daughter Kaitlyn, and 8 grandchildren, Peyton, Callie, Pyper, Havyn, Macie, Nell, Mabel, and Taya. Brother Roy Knezacek and wife Laurette, sister Doris Rue and husband Bob, sister Jeanette Lomenda and husband Rodney, sister Dianne Bartok, mother-in-law Julia Nagy, sister-in-law Gloria Craven and husband Leo, sister-in-law Annabelle Fraser and partner Larry, brother-in-law Kenny Nagy and wife Judy, sister-in-law Joan Johanson and husband Lionel, sister-in-law Judy Gilchuk and husband John, sister-in-law Anita Clark and husband Robert, and numerous nephews and nieces.</p> <p>Dennis was so dearly loved and will be forever missed. We will have a huge hole in our hearts forevermore. We will love you eternally.&nbsp;</p>
