<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ethel Messner, 84, formerly of Walhalla and Langdon, ND passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Parkview Health Center, Aneta, ND. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ethel was born December 20, 1936 at Langdon, ND to Jack and Margaret (White) Welsh. She grew up in the Vang and Walhalla area. She was married to Joseph Messner. After their marriage they lived in Langdon. She worked for various farmers in the Walhalla area, during the potato harvest. Things she enjoyed were crafts, planting flowers, bingo, and going to the casino.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She is survived by her daughters: Delores Lafferty and Joanie Waters, both of Walhalla, ND, Paula Diemert, Larimore, ND, Carolyn Jerome, Grand Forks, ND; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; fours sisters, and one brother.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, daughter, Tina Stegman, son, Gary Messner, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, one sister, and three brothers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

     Ethel Messner, 84, formerly of Walhalla and Langdon, ND passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Parkview Health Center, Aneta, ND.
