Lucille C. Cook

Lucille C. (nee Lupinacci) Cook, 93, of Clifton passed away peacefully on April 15, 2016. Born and raised in Clifton, Mrs. Cook remained a lifelong resident of Clifton. She had been employed as a bookkeeper with Great Eastern Mills Department Store, formerly located in Clifton, with ADP, also in Clifton and then as a Classroom Aide at School #5 on Valley Road in Clifton. She was a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton and was a Charter Member and Ladies Auxiliary Member of VFW Post 7165, Valley Road, Clifton. Mrs. Cook was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marion Lee Cook, on January 1, 1972; by her three dear brothers and six loved sisters. She is survived by her three devoted children: John L. Cook and his wife, Roberta, of Disputanta, VA, Gerard Gerald Cook and his wife, Roseann, of Glen Rock, NJ and Karen L. Bobrowski and her husband, Edward J., of Oxford, NJ; her cherished grandson, John Jude Cook and his wife, Andrea of Raleigh, NC; and adored great-granddaughter, Ruby Joy Cook. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 11:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting will be Friday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (www.vfw.org), 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111 would be preferred and appreciated.
