Roger Glover, 76, of Camilla died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 4 at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Rev. Arnold Buckner will officiate. Pallbearers will be Allen Banks, Wesley Banks, Bryan Glover, Brad Glover, Shaun Glover, Taylor Bentley, Tyler Cooper, and Henry Thomas. Born December 28, 1944 in Grady County, GA, Mr. Glover was the son of the late Troy Jack Glover, Sr. and Gertrude Gillespie Glover. He was married to the late Martha Ann Shiver Glover and was also preceded in death by a brother, Talmadge Glover and a sister, Christine Parker. Mr. Glover attended Cotton Assembly of God Church and worked as a truck driver for over 50 years. Survivors include two daughters, Marsha Ann Banks (Terry) of Pelham and Kathy Glover of Camilla; two sons, Wade Glover (Gina) of Thomasville and Steve Glover of Pelham; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Troy Glover (Thelma) of Albany and John Glover (Barbara) of Albany; a sister, Patsy Gilley of Pelham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, June 3 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla. Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
