JAMES W. KADLUBAK

James Wayne Kadlubak, 74, of Bay Village, Ohio, passed away on May 26, 2021 after a well fought battle with cancer. Jim (aka Jimmy K, Carpe, and Grandpa) was born on May 22, 1947 to Anne and Wayne Kadlubak in Cleveland, Ohio. He was an alumnus of St. Edward High School, class of 1965, and John Carroll University, class of 1970. Thereafter, he started a more than 25 year career with the US Federal Courts as a Federal Probation officer. In 1972, he married his beloved wife, Carol, and they have two daughters Elizabeth (Juan) Giron and Katie (Tom) Evenson. He is the loving grandfather of Abigail, Madeline, and Emma. Jim was the adoring younger brother of Joseph M. Lane (deceased) and proud uncle to John (Margaret), Joanne (Steve), and Jim (Ashley). Jim is known for his contagious belly laugh, his ability to talk to and befriend anyone, his kind-hearted spirit, his love of books, his ability to tell long stories, and his love of travel. With his family he enjoyed traveling the world and making friends everywhere he went, from Italy to Qatar. He will be missed by all with whom he has crossed paths.
