Carolyn M. Sandlin
Carolyn M. Sandlin, 87, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on May 22, 2021. She was born in Aurora, Indiana, on February 20, 1934, to the late Leroy Andrew F. and Josephine (nee Richards) Lange. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 33 years, Elmo H. Sandlin, and her siblings, Freida Murray, Anna Jaggers, Harold Lange, Milfred Lange, and Ralph Lange. She is survived by her loving children, Kimberly (Phillip) Turner, and Kevin E. (Kristina Hall) Sandlin, dearly adored grandchildren, Jessica, J. Kyle, and Benjamin, great grandchildren, Ava, Harper, Abigail, Brooks, and Joey. Carolyn was devoted to God, her Church, and her Sunday School Class. She was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church for 10 years. She loved reading, gardening flowers and vegetables, and going to the beach. She also enjoyed Bass and Crappie fishing with her late husband, East Fork Lake being a place they visited often. She absolutely loved and adored her grandchildren. She was extremely kindhearted, and if she could, she would help anyone in need. She was raised by her brother, Milfred and his wife Helen, and doting siblings. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 10 AM until 11 AM. The funeral service will start at 11 AM, following the public visitation. Interment will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens, 5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150, following the conclusion of the funeral service.February 20, 1934 - May 22, 202102/20/193405/22/2021
