Terese L. Renee Jacks, age 61 passed away on May 19, 2021 at 2:00am in Kansas City, MO. She was born on July 13, 1959 in Kansas City, KS to Flanord J. and Dorothy Rideau. She was preceded in death by her mother, and both her paternal and maternal grandparents, Pierre and Mary Rideau and William and Mildred Gooch.

Terese married the love of her life Veryl Jacks in 1980. They were married for 30 years. Terese grew up in Kansas City, MO where she graduated from Central High School in 1977. She worked for several companies in the Kansas City area that include Gates Bar B.Q., Harold Pener Mens Wear and GEHA, where she worked for 30 years as a customer Service Representative earning many awards and accolades.

Terese’s hobbies included gourmet cooking and listening to music.

Terese leaves to cherish her memories, her sons: Earnest (Tauheedah) Rideau of Lee’s Summit, MO, Jamil Rhinehardt and Stephen Thomas both of Kansas City, MO; daughters: Khaleelah Jacks of Lees Summit, MO and Tenaya Rhinehardt, of Kansas City, MO; brother: Dennis (Stephanie) Rideau, of Kansas City, MO; Two grandchildren, Quivon Rideau and Asia Sanders; Five great-grandchildren, One niece: Chasnye Morris of Kansas City, MO and a host of extended family members and friends.

Memorial service will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, 11:00am at Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition. Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel.
