Shinji Muratsuchi, 83, of Castle Rock, Colorado passed away May 16, 2021. Shinji emigrated to the United States in his 20s and went on to become an accomplished banking executive. He enjoyed the simple things in life, with a great love of gardening on his farm and long walks in nature. He was known to always share the fruits and vegetables he grew with friends and family. In retirement, he lived a peaceful life in Hawaii for 10 years, before moving to Colorado to spend time with his family. Shinji is survived by his wife, Marivel; his daughters, Jessica (Jesse) and Joyce (Hakim); and his grandchildren, Michael, Emma, Johanna, Julia, and Chloe. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Shinji managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by his wife and children, who he adored more than anything else in the world.
