Kenneth Swain Ferguson

Lebanon, VA –Kenneth “Kenney” Swain Ferguson, age 61, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 21, 2021. Born April 28, 1960. He was the son of Virginia Swain and the late Kenneth Banner “Fish” Ferguson. He loved to hunt, fish and trap. Kenney loved doing anything outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Kenney was always on the go. He is survived by his wife: Jennifer Bumgarner Ferguson of Castlewood; daughter: Samantha Jo Ferguson of Castlewood; mother: Virginia Swain Ferguson of Lebanon; sister: Cherie Akers and husband Bill of Lebanon; aunts: Sammye Kiser and husband Buddy of Lebanon, Barbara Cummings and husband Garland of Bristol; niece: Bethany Akers of Lebanon; nephew: Nathaniel Akers and wife Makenzie of Lebanon, and soon to be great niece Maylee Akers; special first cousins: Teresa Hayes and husband Charlie of South Carolina, Chris Kiser and wife Chenelle of Lebanon, Tanya Jussila and husband Mike of Kentucky, Tamara Houchins and husband Brian of Lebanon, Bridget Cummings of Bristol and their families. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Donnie Musick officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations for final expenses or donations made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital are greatly appreciated.
