Linda L. (Pontolilo) Lake, 69, of Hopedale passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence. She was the wife of Edward W. Lake. Mrs. Lake owned and operated her own cleaning business in the Milford and Hopedale area for more than 30 years. She was a loving caregiver to her mother for many years. Linda was born Dec. 16, 1947 in Framingham the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Ruth E. (Blakely) Pontolilo. She was a graduate of Medway High School, Class of 1966 and the Henry O. Peabody Beauty School in Norwood. Linda had been a resident of Medway and Bellingham before moving to Hopedale 34 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Lake celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary last August. Linda enjoyed crocheting and caring for her nieces, great niece and nephews. In addition to her husband Edward, Linda is survived by her brother, Ken and his wife Pat Pontolilo of Pahrump, NV, two nieces Dina Pontolilo of Milford and Dara Pontolilo Shiner and her husband Mark of Leicester, two great nephews, Christopher Kivior of Milford and Peter Bonzey of Leicester and one great niece, Livia Bonzey of Leicester. Visiting hours will be held on Fri. June 30, 2017 from 9-10 AM in the BUMA SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St. Milford followed by a funeral service at 10 AM in the funeral home.
