Billy Joe Stacey, 55, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at home. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place following services at Trimble Crematory. Billy was born December 18, 1965, in Moline, the son of Edward and Susan (Brinton) Stacey. He married Karen Troutwine, and the couple had four children before separating. He most recently worked at Moline Forge for 6 years. He enjoyed video games, watching wrestling and Nascar, traveling, and listening to music. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Billy, especially his beloved grandchildren. Billy is survived by four children, Adriann Stacey of Tampa, Florida, Heath Stacey of Rock Island, Rachel (Jake) Mincks of Davenport, and Grant Stacey of Rock Island; five grandchildren, Draven R.B. Mincks, Thrain E.G. Mincks, Talion J. Mincks, Saffire R.J. Mincks, and Azazel S.G. Mincks; a brother, Edward Stacey, Jr. of Monmouth, Illinois; and a sister, Peggy Minteer of Moline. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Stamper.
