<p><strong>Mr. Albert Eugene Chesney,</strong> age 88, transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at his residence.</p> <p>Albert Eugene (Meat) Chesney 88, was born March 7, 1933, to the late Julian and Connie Chesney. He departed this life on May 19, 2021.</p> <p>Albert was an easy-going, very lovable, and funny person, although everyone didn’t know about his funny side. He met Sarah Snipes early in life<br /> and they got married in 1995. He was a giving man who always was willing to help family members in need. He loved his family and the family<br /> members always teased and picked with him when visiting. Albert was always a hard-working man until his health started failing him.<br /> For many years he worked at sawmills and later began working for himself in the pulpwood industry. He loved fishing and playing cards. He will surely be<br /> missed by all that knew him.</p> <p>Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Connie Chesney, two sons, Steve and John Chesney, three sisters, Ernestine Chesney, Emma<br /> McIver, and Shirley Chesney. Three brothers, Robert, Julian, and Garrett Chesney. Albert helped raise many other children who are now deceased,<br /> Billie McSwain, Nancy Baldwin, Elion Evans, Roland McIver, and George McIver.</p> <p>He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Sarah Chesney, two sons, Jimmie McIver (Sharon), and Larry Chesney. Two daughters, Belinda Tuck and<br /> Deborah Newby. Daughter in law Kathleen McIver. A brother, Jerry Chesney, and a sister, Leola Worthy.
