John Joseph Stellabott, Jr., 85, of Rush Township, formerly of Villanova, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021 at Bay Front Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida, while visiting his home in Punta Gorda, Florida. He was born in Camden, New Jersey on October 6, 1935 to the late John Joseph and Agnes Blanche (Massi) Stellabott, Sr. John was a graduate of Lower Merion High School and attended St. Joseph’s University. He served in the Navy Reserves for a period of time in the 1950s. John was employed as a Parenteral Supervisor at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a division of Johnson & Johnson, for twenty-five years until his retirement in 1994. John was a talented musician and vocalist, he played the bass and sang Frank Sinatra songs in various bands and performed in venues in the local area, and in Susquehanna County. He also enjoyed cooking. He is survived by his four daughters Celeste Stellabott of Philadelphia, Valarie Hilton of Glenmoore, Sharon Moore of East Whiteland, and Sharleen Vone of West Chester, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren Corinne, Richard Jr., Kevin Jr., Nicholas, Jr., and Stephanie; and two great-grandchildren Bella and Nicholas. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
