Helenmarie T Betzler, (nee Casey) 54 of Ridley Twp, Milmont Park, PA, died Monday May 17,2021 in the Hospital University Of PA, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Terrance J. Casey, Jr and Helen (Smithson) Casey. She was a Tax Analyst, employed by Trinseo LLC Helen loved her time in Sea Isle with her family where happy hour starts at 4:00 on the back deck. Helen loved to cook and she knew how to host a party. She did not care for dogs until she rescued Casey in 2018 and then she wanted to meet every puppy in town. She loved to travel, and some of her favorite spots were Key West, or Clearwater Beach for Phillies Spring Training. She enjoyed Disney World with her family and was planning a trip for later this year. Her absolute favorite spot in the entire world, however, was sitting at her kitchen table chatting with family and friends. Predeceased by her father Terrance J. Casey, Jr Survived by her husband: Christopher Betzler, her children: Erin Betzler (Dave) of Philadelphia, PA and Christopher Betzler (Mary Beth) of Oreland, PA Her mother Helen (Smithson) Casey of Ridley Park, PA and two brothers: Terry Casey (Kellie) of Oxford, PA and Matt Casey (Joann) of Lancaster, PA . Brothers and sisters in law: Rick Betzler (Luci) of Glen Mills, David Betzler (Joan) of Milmont Park PA, Joe Betzler (Daniel) of Mount Dora FL, Pat Stehman (Stu) of Wilmington DE, Kathy Kopp (Howard) of New London PA, Mary Heimbecker (Jim) of Upper Darby PA, Diane Jones (Dean) of Wilmington DE. Two Grand dogs: Mika and Miss Piggy. Friends may call Friday from 9:30-11:45 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Ave, Folsom, followed by her mass at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Helen Betzler Foundation at 503 Milmont Avenue Milmont Park, PA 19033. The Helen Betzler Foundation is 501(c) non-profit organization focused on ovarian cancer awareness and familial support.
