Patricia L. Haskell

<p>Patricia Lillian Miller was born in Ansley, NE on January 31, 1942 and died near her long-time home in Annandale, VA on May 17, 2021.</p> <p>She was proceeded in death by her parents, Clarence M. Miller and Faye I. Miller and her sister Dorothy Skoglund. She is survived by her husband Jim; daughters Heidi J. Loechler of Peculiar, MO and Heather D. Ramsey of Bellevue, NE; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.</p> <p>Burial will be at the Kowanda Methodist Church, Garden County Nebraska in early July following graveside services. Time and date TBD.</p> <p>Pat graduated from Garden County High School in Oshkosh, NE, and the University of Wyoming in Laramie. She then worked as a medical technologist/microbiologist in the Northern Virginia hospital systems. She was a volunteer for many organizations, most notably the Girl Scouts as troop leader, including one for handicapped children.</p> <p>Pat loved beekeeping and spent her last 25 years teaching both new and existing beekeepers, organizing new beekeeping organizations, raising queens, and giving presentations throughout the country. In fact, the above snapshot of Pat was the only one we could find that did not include a bee jacket or veil!</p>
